ëpp hosts architecture walking tours

London is home to some remarkable and historic architecture but the places with the most documented histories rarely make it into our dearest memories.

Ask any urban resident to tell you a personal account of their time in the city and you’d be hard pressed to find any of the places in your guidebook. ëpp has devised a walking tour with a difference, it draws on personal stories of time spent in a particular neighbourhood to provide walking routes. The first iteration takes us around South London’s Kennington and Vauxhall.

This is an extension of the project we initially devised for the London Festival of Architecture as self-guided walking routes and audio clips in June. We will be running a few guided architecture tours covering the local conservation areas and taking a more in-depth look at some of the buildings mentioned in the initial interviews.
